Analysis of Remaining Games and Expected Standings updated as of: June 29, 2025

As of this time, overf half of the trophy campaign has been completed (7/12 fixtures played). Although half of SDFC's games remain unplayed, by clinching the first three matches as victories, SDFC's likelihood to win the trophy is extremely high, based on the remaining schedule. San Jose eliminated Galaxy from the 2025 tournament on May 29, with a win. LA Galaxy's draw against San Jose on June 28 damaged San Jose's chances of a viable path. LAFC and San Jose both remain contenders, but likely only with a perfect remaining record (three wins in three matches left), and assuming SDFC claim only 4 points or less in the next three matches. With the San Jose draw against Galaxy on June 28, San Jose is no longer favored for the 2nd position. LAFC has regained the favor for the 2nd position in the El Camino Real Trophy, with San Jose likely to come in third.
