As of this time, three fourths of the trophy campaign has been completed (9/12 fixtures played). San Jose eliminated Galaxy from the 2025 tournament on May 29, with a win. San Diego clinched the trophy on August 17, 2025, eliminating the other Californian teams from the tournament by beating San Jose. SDFC won the first four games (out of six total), leaving no viable path for any others.
